By using this website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it. The software itself is governed by its open-source licence (section 3).
2. Website use
This website is provided for information about Local AppSec Lab, published by Aviqen Technologies. Do not misuse it: no attempts to disrupt, probe, overload or gain unauthorized access to it, and no scraping that burdens the service.
3. Software licence
Local AppSec Lab is licensed under the Apache License 2.0. That licence, not these terms, sets your rights to use, copy, modify and distribute the software. Third-party components keep their own licences; see THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES.
4. Authorized use only
You may run the software only against applications, systems and data that you own or have explicit written authorization to test. You are solely responsible for obtaining that authorization and for complying with applicable law, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and equivalent laws elsewhere. Do not use the software to attack, disrupt or access systems without permission.
Active testing runs application code and may create, change or delete data in the environment you point it at. Use synthetic data and isolated environments, and review the plan before authorizing execution.
5. Experimental software
This is an experimental release. Reports list evidence, candidates and untested coverage, and a scan cannot certify that an application is secure. You remain responsible for decisions made using its output, including applying or rolling back any generated patch.
6. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the website and software are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement, as set out in the Apache License 2.0. Statistics shown on the website (stars, downloads, versions) come from third parties and may be delayed or unavailable.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Aviqen Technologies and its contributors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss, or for loss of data, profit or business, arising from use of the website or software. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
8. Trademarks
“Aviqen”, “Aviqen Technologies” and the project name and logo are our marks. The Apache licence does not grant trademark rights. Names of other products on this site (for example Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Gemini, Semgrep, OSV-Scanner, Trivy, Playwright, Docker) belong to their owners; no affiliation or endorsement is implied.
9. Third-party links
We link to GitHub, PyPI and other sites. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or practices.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Kolhapur, Maharashtra have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rights you have under law.
